Taking Stock

• Making: Socks (this pattern) for my Mom (was supposed to be a Christmas gift – whoops.)
• Cooking: Not much; mostly enjoying Christmas dinner leftovers. Going to turn the ham into ham & egg salad soon, though.
• Drinking: Coffee from the fancy-pants Keurig that my honey got me for Christmas! <3
• Reading: Pretty Little Liars #13: Crushed, because I’m awesome like that
• Wanting: Some new living room furniture (HA! Dreaming…)
• Looking: At the boys playing with all their new toys
• Playing: With Nerf guns (Seriously, does anyone ever get “too old” for those things?!)
• Deciding: Whether or not to cancel my chiropractor appointment tomorrow afternoon (I’m feeling good right now, but I’m sure one day in an office chair tomorrow will change that…)
• Wishing: The weekend wasn’t coming to an end
• Enjoying: A cup of coffee from the lovely new Keurig that my honey got me (THANKS!)
• Waiting: For Mike to leave so I can start some house work (it’s just easier to clean with an empty, quiet house)
• Liking: All the lovely gifts I got for Christmas! I’m lucky to have such thoughtful friends and family!!
• Wondering: How long the unseasonably warm weather (and no snow) is going to last
• Loving: This totally leak-proof travel mug (no more toddler spills!)
• Pondering: How to spend the rest of the afternoon (last day of Christmas vacation, sigh)
• Considering:
• Watching: Sons of Anarchy on Netflix (I’m late to the party)
• Hoping: For lots of positive things for our family and friends in the New Year
• Marveling: Over how well Myles is doing at building tall towers with his new blocks!
• Needing: More hours in my day to get things day, and more hours at night to catch up on sleep (good luck, right?)
• Smelling: Some Christmassy-scented wax in my Scentsy warmer
• Wearing: Cute new socks that my co-worker Kelly got me for Christmas!
• Following: Grace Helbig because she cracks me up
• Noticing: That my living room looks like a Toys ‘R Us exploded up in here
• Knowing: That I need to start running again ASAP to be ready for my next 5K in June
• Thinking: Gosh I HATE doing laundry….
• Admiring: My friend Kyla Roma, who’s launching her new business and some big, exciting things in 2015!!
• Sorting: Myles’ old toys to make room for all the new ones
• Buying: The “Happy New You” Bundle to go with my Erin Condren Life Planner
• Getting: Gray hair due to stress because Myles won’t stop standing on things and being a daredevil
• Bookmarking: What Are Your Blogging Goals for 2015? (Free Printable PDF) from Nectar Collective
• Disliking: Messes and clutter. I think “spring” cleaning starts in January this year
• Opening: The washing machine (very shortly) to do a metric buttload of laundry
