Rediscovered: NARS Madly

I bought NARS Madly blush years ago, purely based on a review by Laura. While I admit I’ve been distracted by other blushes lately, Madly is by far one of my favourite blushes ever.

According to NARS, Madly is described as a “soft focus seashell pink.” Hmm, sure. To me, Madly is more of a tawny bronze shade, a warm pink with brown undertones. It looks gorge as a blush and bronzer in one. There is a hint of shimmer but it’s just that, a hint. This really warms up the skin, giving the most beautiful glow. It also does a great job sculpting the cheekbones if you sweep it just under the cheekbones. Read one of my posts about this blush here.

Madly is great paired with any kind of lipstick really – from nudes to oranges. This weekend, I wore Madly paired with a Clinique Chubby Stick, Two Ton Tomato.

Yes, I wore a full face of makeup to take my kids to their swimming class…and it felt good.
