DIY Hanging Can Vases

I love recycling and using cans is something very easy to use to craft. Save your empty cans and display your favorite spring flowers. I shared the how-to at SCJ Johnson’s blog.

Materials

• Recycled Cans
• Fresh Flowers
• Scissors, Hot Glue
• Leather String (Can be found in a roll at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn’s)

Instructions

Wrap the leather string around the edge of the can placing the excess strand of string to the side and add hot glue where both straps connect. (Repeat steps on the other side of the can.)

To secure the planter, simply use a thumb tack or tie a knot and place a hook at the ceiling. Flowers for me are the finishing touch to a great productive day so I’m always looking for ideas to hang or display flowers, sit back and enjoy the rest of my day.
