DIY jolly rancher suckers tutorial

I've made a bunch of these Jolly Rancher suckers over the summer for two reasons:
1. They are super quick and easy to make.
2. Not only are they delicious but kids and adults flip out over them because they are so stinkin' cute. I promise ... pull these babies out and everyone makes a fuss. :)

I originally found this idea a while back during one of my frequent Pinterest searches. I cant remember the original source so I'll share the instructions with you here.

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees and unwrap Jolly Ranchers.

2. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and arrange Jolly Ranchers (3 per sucker) tightly side by side on top. I like to make sure that contrasting colors are placed next to each other to create bold stripes. In other words I would not suggest putting similar colors like cherry and watermelon together.

3. Cook for approximately 10 min or until the Jolly Ranchers have melted together. Generally they are not done in ten minutes but this is when they start to drastically change and it can be fast. Since every oven cooks a bit differently I'd suggest keeping a close eye on your first batch to get it just right.

4. Take your pan out of the oven and press sucker sticks down onto the melted Jolly Ranchers .... Your sticks will not be completely imersed but that's ok.

5. Put the suckers back into the oven for about one minute and then take out and let cool.

So easy right?

Put each in a cello bag, or wrap them in a strip of wax paper and use a sticker to hold it in place ... talking about packaging ideas gets this graphic designer giddy. :)
