That Blue got me like

When travelling to a new city it’s always crucial to be prepared with a few key items in order to make your day trekking fuss free and stylish. One of the key looks to perfect with these items is the 24 hour look. I always find this look to be more useful on vacations rather when I’m back at home so here are some of my personal rules on that one great look with both quality and quantity.
1. THE FOUNDATION
In order to keep your day bag light, it’s best to wear something you can wear to breakfast, lunch and dinner. To do this I always like to have one key piece, like a jumpsuit or this fabulous blue dress. Because of it’s standout look accessories aren’t completely necessary, and drastically cut down on clutter you need to carry.
2. THE BASE
Shoes, shoes, shoes. Something I learnt the hard way is that when visiting a new city your bound to be on foot. Since I am on the road to recovering and aiding the relationship I have with my feet, it’s utterly important to have a pair of shoes you can walk in for a full twelve hours… if not more. I currently switch between birkenstocks, Nike Roshe Runs or my adidas superstars. All stylish. All comfortable. On occasion, I will carry a pair of heels in my day bag for dinner. If you choose your foundation specifically on it’s shock appeal this step isn’t very necessary, but for me, as I’m really self conscious about my height (or more my lack of) I enjoy the pleasures of adding a few centimetres to it and perfecting my posture simultaneously.
3. THE INSIDE
Your day bag. A bag too small and your hands will be tired from carrying your clutter, or your outfit will be ruined by the array of plastic bags you use to spontaneously carry your clutter. A bag too big and the majority of the items you pack you won’t see for the next 72 hours…. or when you dump it’s contents on your hotel room floor. I prefer stylish, simple backpacks as they go with everything, fit in everything and leave your hands free for smoothies and fresh food.
4. THE CLUTTER
The less you have the better. End of story.
