Off To The Beach

Well friends, it’s that time of year — finally summer vacation.

My family and I are taking off for the beach for an extended break. I think that we all are looking forward to the change of scenery and the ocean air. While my husband and I are both hoping to take a real vacation and not work, it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to escape completely. But we’re going to do our best.

Which means no blogging for me. I could’ve set up guest posts but I really want and need to just turn off this part of my brain for a little while. I’ve felt a little stagnant in my posts lately and I want to come back feeling refreshed and with some great new posts and stories to share with you.

While there won’t be blogging, there’s a good chance that I’ll still be Instagramming because, well, I can’t help it.

But honestly, I want to focus on time with my kids. They’re getting older and I know that all too soon they will come to the age when they won’t want to hang out with Mom and Dad.
