UP ALL NIGHT WITH CAKE LINGERIE. As a new mom, I go through so many new experiences. Nursing has been my biggest, most challenging and most rewarding experience. Some of my best memories are middle of the night feedings with Chloe. – it’s mommy and daughter bonding time. I try to nurse whenever I’m at home, so it’s important I wear comfortable clothing. Especially when I’m feeding Chloe in the middle of the night, it can be a struggle if I wear uncomfortable clothes that make it difficult to nurse. I need something that allows me to feed Chloe easily at any hour during the day or night and something that lets me sleep comfortably.

I’m so glad I found Cake Lingerie, which is a luxe line of lingerie, swimwear, fitness wear and pjs for pregnant and nursing women. They’re based in Australia and their line is carried in Nordstrom, Pea in a Pod, and a bunch of other retailers. One of Cake’s goals is to empower women to love the body they are in during a time in their life that they may not feel so “hot”. I love these pjs, it’s soft and feels nice on my skin after a hot shower. The ruffled straps are cute and the lace make me feel more feminine, its better than lounging around in sweats – at least until I, mentally and physically feel like my old self again. Also, the feeding clips make my life so much easier when I’m feeding in the middle of the night.
