THE ARABIAN DESERT (Lovely Pepa by Alexandra)

The Arabian dessert, a blazing sun… And a wish. A wish locked in my new Cartier amulette. It’s a wish hidden in a Green Chrysoprase Cabochon, as if it was Aladdin’s lamp with a genie inside. I like to believe that if you hide some wishes only for yourself, you’ll see them come true some time. I’ve hidden mine inside this cabochon and I will always carry it… It will travel with me wherever I go, near my heart. Maybe, if it comes true, I’ll tell you what it is.

One of our most interesting days in Dubai started with some shopping in Mall of the Emirates, which was just below our hotel: Sheraton Mall of the Emirates. It’s a must if you want to do some nice shopping. I bought something in Chanel and I’ll show it to you very soon. And I visited Isabel Marant’s store too and bought a pair of sandals. I’m sure I’m going to wear them a lot this summer!

After that, we enjoyed a 4×4 wheel drive tour through the dessert. It was an amazing experience and we were really scared driving across the sand dunes. We made a stop in Margham dessert to see a dancing show. The scene was as if we were in a One Thousand and One night story. My Thousand and One Night story.

El desierto de Arabia, un calor abrasador… Y un deseo. Un deseo encerrado dentro de mi Amulette de Cartier. Un sueño que se oculta dentro de su crisoprasa verde como si de una lámpara mágica de Aladdin se tratase. Me encanta pensar que si guardamos ciertos deseos o sueños para nosotros, solo para nosotros, terminarán por cumplirse en algún momento de nuestras vidas. Yo he guardado el mío dentro de mi amuleto, y viajará conmigo allá a donde vaya, muy cerca de mi corazón y un día, quizás os cuente de qué se trata, cuando se haya cumplido.

Uno de nuestros días más interesantes en Dubai, consistió en una jornada de Shopping en el Mall of the Emirates situado justo debajo de nuestro hotel: Sheraton Mall of the Emirates. Una visita obligada, si queréis hacer un shopping deluxe. Allí me hice con una nueva cosita de Chanel, que os enseñaré muy pronto por aquí, y con unas sandalias preciosas de Isabel Marant que no me voy a quitar en todo el verano.

Más tarde, nos dirigimos a nuestro tour por el desierto. Tras una espeluznante experiencia en las dunas (temiendo que nuestro 4×4 volcara en cualquier momento) hicimos parada en algún punto del desierto de Margham donde disfrutamos de algunos bailes típicos sentados en una localización propia de las mil y una noches, mis mil y una noches.

Llevo mi nuevo kaftan perfecto para el verano de la nueva colección de Fashion Pills. No os la podéis perder, ya que tienen cosas preciosas. Además, llevo un sombrero que compré en una tienda de la zona del Barrio Gótico de Barcelona. Espero que disfrutéis de las fotos. Muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios.
