MARRAKECH DAY 3 (Lovely Pepa by Alexandra)

Morning from my beloved Madrid! We’re back home after enjoying one of the most beautiful trips ever. It’s been an amazing adventure and I just can’t wait to go back. But before that I would like to share with you all the pictures we’ve taken.

Our Sunday in Marrakesh was rather calm. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we decided to sunbathe in our hotel’s terrace (La Sultana) and have some time for us to relax. In the evening, after checking my email inbox and planning our next weeks, we headed to Jemâa el –Fna. This square is full of people in the evening and at night. Although during the day it is full of tourists, at twilight things are amazing there: hundreds of merchants, men with snakes and monkeys trying to catch tourists’ attention, women making henna tattoos (we got one!) and thousands of things that happen in one second. Lots of feelings and thoughts came to my mind. We went to one of the biggest terraces in the city for only 20 dirhams and we enjoyed a wonderful sunset with amazing views.

That day I wore my new feathered shirt from Mekdes. It’s amazing and it plays the main role in this look. I wore my new bag from Céline’s latest collection and my old Chanel espadrilles. I love to wear them when I travel, they’re so comfy, but not as much as my new babouches, hahaha! Hope you like the pictures and thank you so much for all your comments.

By the way, this evening I’ll be waiting for you in Carolina Herrera’s corner, in El Corte Inglés Castellana. I’ll show you their new fragrance (I’ll be traveling with them to Kenia next week!). ¡Buenos días ya desde mi querido Madrid! Ya estamos de vuelta de uno de los viajes más increíbles hasta el momento. Ha sido una aventura maravillosa y ya estoy deseando regresar. Pero antes tengo cientos de fotos que compartir con vosotros.

Nuestro domingo en Marrakech fue bastante tranquilo. Decidimos tomar el sol en la terraza de nuestro Hotel (La Sultana), y relajarnos durante la mañana después de un delicioso desayuno. Por la tarde, y después de ponernos al día con nuestra bandeja de entrada y organizando las dos próximas semanas que van a ser una auténtica locura, nos pusimos rumbo a la plaza Jemâa el –Fna. La plaza se convierte en un hervidero de gente durante la tarde y la noche. Aunque por la mañana también está bastante ocupada, el ambiente nocturno y del atardecer es alucinante. Cientos de mercaderes, hombres con serpientes y monos que utilizan como atracción para turistas, mujeres que tatúan Henna (sí, hemos caído en la tentación) y mil cosas más ocurriendo al mismo tiempo. Por mi cabeza pasan muchos pensamientos. Subimos a una de las grandes terrazas en las que por solo 20 dirhams puedes disfrutar de una alucinante puesta de sol y de unas vistas irrepetibles.

Para mi look elegí mi nueva camiseta de Mekdes con plumas, una auténtica maravilla que se lleva todo el protagonismo del estilismo. Lo combiné con mi última adquisición en bolsos: mi Céline de nueva colección y mis ya viejitas alpargatas Chanel que son todo comodidad para viajar (aunque no tanto como mis nuevas Babuchas jajaja).
