Breakfast Club
Three weeks ago, Little Miss J and I, met up for breakfast at La Bodega BSC. When we did our routine of posting pictures, other cousins were not too happy that they weren’t invited. So this weekend, I decided to organize a breakfast do at the famous pastry place called Levain.
Located at the heart of KL , off Jalan Imbi (opposite PrinceCourt Medical Centre, near Pavilion) is this beautiful French looking cottage with HORRIBLE parking space. Sorry Levain, but you got this coming. Despite that, they do offer Valet services which doesnt cost much but the time wasted waiting for your car can be used for another round of scrumptious breakfast from its kitchen.
Oh yes…Food was excellent. Everything were freshly baked from the oven. Not everything were replenish immediately but the good stuff just kept on coming. Warm, flaky, pastries. LOVED IT!
Oh but the service was bad. It took them 30 minutes to serve our drinks. Suggestion for the patrons, bring your own bottled water while waiting for your drink to arrive because you might choke on your food within that 30 minutes. We had two incompetent waiters who kept on spilling glasses of drinks everywhere. On our table, at the front door, at the counter. Messy!
My advise to Levain’s management, hire MORE waiters especially when you know that the crowd is crazy on weekends. And make sure they are competent.
But guys, with all these complaints, I would definitely come here again with my loved ones. Perfect breakfast place. I wish there’s more of this out here in KL.
