behind the scenes: lululemon arizona
Recently, while having celebratory cocktails for my Grandpa’s 75th birthday, I chatted to him about our team’s most recent shoot in Sedona, Arizona. He listened attentively to my tales about the vibrant sunrises and sunsets, challenging hikes into magical Fay Canyon (where the spiritual power of Sedona’s energy vortex is believed to be strongest), cliff jumping into the river at Grasshopper Point, paddleboard races, road trips to the extraordinary Grand Canyon, BBQs, beers and laughter. When I finished, he said to me, “Back when I was working we just sat at a desk all day.” His words gave me pause to appreciate how ridiculously lucky I am to travel the world with a group of the most awesome people on this planet to do what I love, styling inspiring humans and creating visual stories to share with the world. Photographer Miles, filmmaker Andrea, producer Annalise, designer Caitrin and myself (AKA “the dream team”) made some epic memories amongst the stunning red rock formations and captured talented athletes killing it at their sports. Carlee is a fashion stylist and all around creative individual who loves anything to do with art, music, food, interiors, design and travel. Carlee moved to Vancouver from London, UK to become lululemon’s e-commerce athletic stylist. She works on both photo studio and creative photoshoots.
