Kusafune Ceramics

Kusafune’s ceramic collection of planters and vases make me smile. Kusafune, which means “grass goat” in Japanese, is a pottery studio cum workshop where ceramicist Sachie Kaneko along with her local potters, produce each vessel individually by hand.

I’m drawn to the adorable animal theme and the miniature figurines, which make the simple ceramic vessels look like they are taken out from a children’s picture book. See more of Sachie’s works here, or check out her online store for more delightful ceramics.
