MYR Rain Bag

To me, rain and leather are two opposite entities, and should not mix. However, architect-turned-designer Johanna Landin has combined these very two elements to create a series of modern leather bags from her studio in Stockholm, Sweden.

MYR‘s Rain Collection series consists of four different designs, Drip, Drizzle, Pouring and Snowrain. Each bag is handcrafted with organic leather from Sweden’s Tärnsjö tannery, and then hand stained with one of the four rain patterns.

Now, I’m inspired to carry one of these chic purse out in the rain! (Though I still think rain and leather don’t mix …) The rain series bags are available at Need Supply Co.
