Momofuku Milk Bar

There were lots of things going on during the past few weeks, which explains that I was M.I.A for a while. A good new to share is, I did discovered a very nice restaurant last week and I was thinking about writing somethings about that. Unfortunately, my friend and I were having such a pleasant talk that I completely forgot about taking pictures. But the food was really good, so I'm sure I'll be back again!

A friend of mine asked me if I have any suggestions of New York. And Momofuku Milk Bar was the first thing came to my mind. Seriously, if I ever go visit NYC again, Momofuku Milk Bar is definitely on the top of the list. Once I get off the airplane, I'd just jump into a cab and go straight to this amazing dessert paradise!

I didn't really remember the exact reason why I know this place. What I do know is, their cake truffles took over my heart. Precisely, this sort of taste had never been in my mouth. That was genuinely original! I tried some different things there as well, but if I can only choose one, I'd say the " Birthday Truffles Cake " is a must-try! The texture was pretty moist, kind of between a brownie and a cupcake.

Since I miss their exceptional products so bad, I was thrilled to find out that they take international orders. Just upon placing an order online a couple days ago, it turned out to be a big disappointment. They can ship internationally all the way to Taipei, but guess what, several boxes of cookies cost over 100 USD of shipping fee. That's totally insane! I guess my only option is try to be patient and wait till another visit to NYC. Sorry about those lousy photos, blame the my cell phone.
