Noticed: Comfy, Cozy Layering

To state the obvious, it gets just a little harder to pull yourself together as temperatures keep dropping. But what if we told you we’ve noticed a way to pile on layer upon glorious layer of cozy knits and still hold on to more than just a modicum of style? It’s true.

The genius of layering soft tees and sweatshirts is that you, the wearer, will feel like you’re going outside in a pair of comfy pajamas, but to the envious, perhaps slightly chillier onlooker, you’ve got a sharply on-point outfit. The trick is, of course, not actually wearing your pajamas outside but picking layers with interesting silhouettes and adding a few structured accessories at the end. Pair a crewneck sweatshirt with a voluminous midi skirt and a boxy woven jacket—along with sharp boots and a bag—and you’ll coast through the chill.
