Beautiful lakeside wedding in Russia
Alena & Vasya lived close to each other most of their lives without knowing it; she was studying at university with one of his friends whilst he often went snowboarding at the same place she used to hang out with her friends. Every day she used to walk past his office, and he was working on materials for a project of hers… all of this without actually meeting. Once they finally did meet they knew they’d never be apart. After several proposals (read more about that below), they planned a wedding with vintage and rustic elements on Lake Korkino in Murmansk, Russia. TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Everything developed very fast and after several months we started to live together and one year later at breakfast Vasya presented me an engagement ring. We couldn’t manage to organize a wedding for long time, something always made us postpone it. Whilst we were travelling Vasya was proposing to me over and over using the romantic mood of our destinations. So he proposed in the cold ice of Lapland, in the Greek islands, cozy Parisian cafes and under the hot sun of Emirates.
TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: Our wedding style evolved very easily. Neither of us are fans of brands, we value the real beauty of things so we opted for custom-made outfits.
