My Visual Seoul Diary
Seoul in South Korea was the last stop on our Asia trip. This time we were so exhausted that we wanted to slow down. That means having a late breakfast and go by taxi to a location and explore from there on foot.
To get to Seoul, we took a 2 hour ride on a train from Kyoto to Osaka and than we took the plane. After two hours we landed in Seoul and arrived in our hotel which is located on a hill where we had a beautiful view on the N Seoul Tower from our room.
Luckily Christine gave us plenty of fantastic tips about Seoul where to go and what to eat so we had the best experience you can get in the town in this limited time. There was so much to discover, all these countless beauty stores, concept stores (they have here 2 10 Corso Como Stores!), great restaurants and sightseeings! Of course I had to buy some beauty products and one product in particular I just bought because of the packaging. But to be honest it’s not only cute but great on the inside!
Oh boy, you have to explore Seoul! This city is so varied and there is a lot to discover! Also the architecture was very interesting and we tried to capture our experience in the following pictures:

Seoul in Südkorea war der letzte Stop unserer Reise und wir wollten es hier etwas langsamer angehen und ein bisschen entspannter die Stadt erkunden. Das heisst, nicht gleich in der Früh raus und bis spät die Stadt zu Fuss erkunden, sondern zuerst ein gemütliches Frühstück haben, mit dem Taxi zum gewünschten Spot fahren und dort herumlaufen.
Um nach Seoul zu gelangen, sind wir zwei Stunden mit dem Zug von Kyoto nach Osaka gefahren und von dort ging es 2h mit dem Flugzeug nach Seoul. Unser Hotel befand sich auf einem Hügel und aus dem Zimmer hatten wir einen wundervollen Blick auf den N Seoul Tower.
Christine hat uns supertolle Tips gegeben und wir haben fast jeden Punkt von der Liste abgeklappert und waren begeistert! Vor allem kulinarisch gab es hier so Vieles zu entdecken und die ganzen Concept Stores waren auch tolle Inspirationen. Ich mein, es gibt hier gleich zwei 10 Corso Como Geschäfte!
Was mir auch sofort aufgefallen ist: die unzähligen Beauty-Stores an jeder Ecke! Mit teilweise sehr skurrilen Kosmetikartikeln, Masken, süssen Verpackungen und Angeboten locken die Verkäufer vor den Geschäften hinein. Ich blieb sehr standhaft und habe mir nur ein paar Beautyartikel gegönnt und die Mitesserpflaster, die ich ausschliesslich wegen der herzigen Verpackung gekauft habe, aber die Pflaster haben sich auch beim Testen als sehr gut erwiesen.
Ach, Seoul muss man einfach erlebt haben! Die Stadt war so vielfältig und besonders, auch die Architektur war teilweise sehr interessant. Wir haben es versucht, photographisch festzuhalten:
