spring time embellishments
Hello Roadies! Kimberly here today with a card that is just full of pretty. Maya Road has so many loveyly embellishments, how do you even chose which ones to use? Let's not chose! Today I decided to use my current favorites, all on one card.
I started by adhering a strip of Pleated Glitter Tulle to my patterned paper. Then I tied Twine Cording in Shine Gold around the seam in the tulle and tied a basic bow.
I wanted to use a Framed Sayings Kraft Piece in White, but I had already adhered the tulle. I simply cut the kraft piece in half and tucked the top and bottom pieces in the tulle. You can't really tell when looking at the card. Whoop for an easy fix!
I continued to add fun embellishments that I love, like the new Wood Tokens Trendy. I still love a good chevron pattern! A Leaf Trinket Pin and a Candy Apple Red Polka Dot Button also worked nicely. To finish off the button a little bit, I tied a piece of Twine Cording in Cherry red through the button holes. And because I love all things gold and cannot help myself when it comes to clothespins, I added a small Wood Mini Clothespin in Gold.
And the last embellishment, this fabulous Felt Rose in Mustard. I have been drooling over these flowers for so long! Isn't it pretty? So bright and fresh. It is filling my need for all things spring and flowers!
