Work of Heart...a few cards
Hey Roadies! It's Julia here today with a peek at some cards I've created using the just released Classic Card Kit: Work of Heart. I love this new kit that Maya Road has put together. It's the perfect blend of fresh papers, fun prints and of course, the gorgeous embellishments that Maya Road is know for.
My first card uses some of the included package of chipboard shapes to create the design. I love chipboard and how many different ways you can use it. The chipboard circles have been covered with patterned paper and the floral chipboard pieces have been inked up with a lovely pink pigment ink that I had on hand.
One of my favorite things about this card kit is the exclusive stamp set. It's a mix and match set with 5 circular sentiments and lots of small icon stamps to fit inside. I have always wanted a Keep Calm and Craft On stamp so I know I'll be using this one a lot.
Next up is this Bee Happy card. This has got to be the sweetest piece of flair and it is exclusive to the card kit. Once again I've pulled out the Work of Heart stamp set and this time I've used the heart icon stamp. It makes a cute addition to the wood tag layer on this project.
My final card today is one I pulled out my watercolors for and they add a hit of color to layer the design elements on. I absolutely adore the resin owls that are included in the kit. They are so sweet and make for a fun and trendy embellishment. This card gives you a peek at a couple of the coordinating digital die cuts that we offer along with the kit.
