Have you seen our giant set of letter of the week activities, organized by letter? Today, inspired by 3 Dinosaurs’ free letter find printables, I’m adding something different to our activities.
It’s a set of free “find the letter” alphabet worksheets. And guess what? They come in three sets. You can print the lowercase letter find, uppercase letter find, or the mixed set (pictured above).
These pages are for kids who enjoy occasional seat work. I’ll be honest and tell you they aren’t (yet) a favorite of my Three, so I don’t push them on him. However, he did jump on the opportunity to use do-a-dot markers for this letter “f” page.
Of course, the idea is to mark just the featured letter, but my Three wanted to do things his own way. He marked a variety of letters, naming them as he did so.
“Look, Mom! I’m dotting a “c!” I didn’t argue. Expecting a three-year-old to follow a worksheet’s “rules” is a bit much, in my opinion. (Plus, by naming and dotting other letters he was actually getting extra practice! Hee hee.)
Offer your child a variety of ways to cover the letters:
I hope you have fun with these!
