Frosted Reindeer Cookies

Are you looking for a super-easy, last-minute Christmas cookie to make? Look no further! These frosted reindeer cookies are easy enough to make with your kids and cute enough to impress any Christmas guests. I just love their sweet and salty combination and they are super duper cute. This awesome recipe is from Life Made Delicious and it’s just that – delicious!

What you’ll need:

1 pkg (510 g) Pillsbury* Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
1/4 cup (50 mL) flour
1 tub (450 g) Betty Crocker* Creamy Deluxe Frosting (any variety)
small pretzel twists
candy-coated chocolates
white chocolate chips
black food colouring

How to make them:

•Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). In large bowl, break up cookie dough; work flour into dough until well blended. Shape roll of cookie dough into circle-shaped log. (If dough is too soft to cut, place in freezer 30 minutes.)
•With thin sharp knife, cut dough into 32 (1/4-inch (6 mm) thick) circular slices; place 2-inches (5 cm) apart on ungreased baking sheet.
•Bake 7 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from baking sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
•Frost cookies with frosting. Place 2 pretzel twists on each cookie for antlers. Lightly press 2 candy-coated chocolates or chocolate chips on the eyes. Lightly press 1 candy-coated chocolate for the nose. I added a dab of black food colouring when using the white chocolate chip eyes. Store between sheets of waxed paper in tightly covered container.
