A lovely parcel arrived today containing a new pair of jeans. At The Apartment, guests were invited in the Bethnals denim lounge to pick out a pair of jeans and have them customised. I went for a pair of high waisted tailored mum jeans, with a black button and stitched initials.
The last 3 photos here are taken with the Olympus e-pl7. I love using it with the 14-35mm pancake lens for detail shots.
Bethnals is a brand spanking new denim line founded by former Topshop buyer Melissa Clement. Supported by backers on Kickstart - Bethnals will drop it’s first collection ‘London Uniform‘ in collaboration with fabric supplier iSKO this autumn/winter. The Bethnals e-commerce site will launch on the 15th of October so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Bethnals was created to bridge the gap between high-street and designer denim. The first unisex collection is concentrated on the core essentials - skinny, straight and relaxed. All shapes come in black and clean indigo. The price point is £75 for core or you can upgrade to Selvedge for £125.
