I cringe at every thought of winter – the unbearably cold weather, wind and rain. The shorter days, dark skies and the overall seemingly endless season. Ugh.
Then, I think about the things that I do like about it and often help me get through. Layers, thick luscious fabrics, leather aplenty, wool and snuggling in a warm bed knowing it’s minus a million degrees outside.
This look welcomes the approaching cold weather – muted shades and layers of accessories such as a scarf and beanie. Winter clothing is generally associated with higher price tags, but this look I pulled together is layered, luxe and less expensive than you think. All for under $300. Say whaaa? Where else, but Target.
Gok is back doing his thing with Target, with the retailer celebrating the new, bigger and better autumn/winter collection for women, men and children as recently seen at their runway show at this year’s VAFF held on Sunday. It was a celebration of all shapes, sizes, colour, age and gender while showcasing some of the well curated looks currently on offer. Everything was on point – Target really took it up another notch.
Another surprise was their latest designer collaboration with Dannii Minogue, whose petites collection was something definitely worth looking forward to as winter sets in.
So if you’re in dire need of a winter wardrobe update without breaking the bank, head to Target because here’s proof that less is definitely more!
Big shout out to Target
