Family Portrait

I am still sorting through 500 Christmas photos (that is not an exaggeration), however in the process I found this mini photo shoot I had with some of my favorite gals: my cousin Maddy, my Aunt Jo, my grandmother Nanny and my Mom...Captain. Now this photo is missing a few key players: Aunt Sonja, my cousin Ali, and Aunt Missy, but I think the point of this post is clearly portrayed in the images above. I come from a loud, wild, extremely fun and more so loving Irish Catholic fam! Captain is one of 5 and between my aunts and uncles, my 6 cousins and brother (all between ages of 18 and 29), we have quiet a crew! I love each and everyone of them so very much. But back to the pic. Yeah we attempted to pose for a classy family photo, putting out our finest skinny arms and relaxed smiles, yet an attempt is was at best. Clearly not one of us could sit still as virtually every pic is blurry; either someone is laughing hysterically or another is mid convo working their finest awkward candid camera face. In this case, sorry Captain. With that said, I think I love the latter image more as it truly exhibits how much love surrounds this family of mine. We got it good. Happy Monday all!
