Valentine’s Day Collection

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I was wondering: “When did we start celebrating this day?” “Why is it called Valentine’s Day?” “Why do we celebrate it on February 14th?” So, I went to Wikipedia and that’s what I found out.

This day of love is celebrated all over the world, but it is not considered a holiday in every country. Also known as Saint Valentine’s Day, February 14th began as a religious celebration of the Christian saint, Valentinus, in Italy. By the 18th century, it evolved into a celebration of love and courtship that is widespread across many countries. The most recognized symbols for Valentine’s Day include the heart shape, doves, and the image of Cupid.
