Inside a traditional mountain retreat with a bold twist!

When Ross and Sally Singletary wanted to build a new home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, they turned to Atlanta architect D. Stanley Dixon and interior designer Heather Dewberry for design help. Thanks to their frequent collaborations, Dixon and Dewberry were given the creative license to design their mountain retreat. The Singletary's main directive is for the creative pair to show them something they hadn't seen before. The results? A striking home that wows! Let's check it out, shall we?

This home is a true testament to beauty and creativity! Bold colors, eye-catching patterns, vibrant wallpapers and classic silhouettes merged beautifully in this traditional home. Fresh, layered and thoughtfully designed, this mountain retreat provides a ton of style and visual delight! I am especially drawn to the unexpected wood walls in the dining room. Not only did the rustic walls added another layer of visual interest, they exude warmth and create a more intimate atmosphere in the space. Another favorite of mine is the calming guest bedroom with the navy and lavender palette. Gorgeous, elegant and inspirational, what's not to love about this fabulous abode? Your thoughts?
