So there I was, casually wandering the ailses of Selfridges Food Hall – which never happens by the way, I’m far more interested in their shoes. When suddenly, BAM, there it was. The most genius summer invention I have ever seen.
Gin & tonic ice cream. Yes!
Made by Winchester-based brand Jude’s, this dreamy concoction is made with Sipsmith gin and Jude’s creme anglais ice cream.
Summer in a cup? I think so! Check them out at Ocado as well (note: they’re only available in the small cinema-sized tubs).
And apart from the drink and the ice cream, I’ve noticed a fair few other G&T food innovations that it seems rude not to try.
Cheers!
