MMM {wears} Mixing up the prints with Boden

There are lots of things I love about the way Boden work as a company.

Hands-down they showcase their collections in the most inspiring ways at their seasonal press days. Plus the colours, in-house designed prints and uplifting imagery never fail to inspire a bit of cheer – even on the gloomiest of days.

So I was well chuffed to be asked to appear in the Valentine’s Day issue of their lovely Great Boden Diaries blog.

I chose three new season outfits for three different kind of V-Day date – incorporating their clothes, my style and some very big hair (courtesy of Cheeky Parlour at Barber & Parlour, Shoreditch).

Here’s some of the shots – and some behind the scenes shots – from my favourite print mash-up outfit.

Floral ‘Emelie’ pencil skirt | ‘Alice’ spot high heels | Cashmere stripe cardigan | Grey Easy Day jumper | Leopard clutch (coming soon)

BEHIND THE SCENES IN NUMBERS:

THREE Parcels that arrived at home for me to style up

TWENTY minutes waiting for the delayed train to take me to East London

TWO large Cappuccinos to get me through the day

NINETY EIGHT times I stroked the spotty shoes

FOURTEEN times we had to reposition because of the rude graffitti

TWO Mackerel salads for lunch (and one shared portion of chips) at Albion
