Attitude is everything. – Diane von Furstenberg

This is a very special dress to me. It’s Diane von Furstenberg. I’ve had it for almost 10 years, which sounds crazy when I type that out. I’ll never forget the afternoon I went into Nordstrom and bought it, I was nervous as it was a splurge for me at the time. Thinking back on all the special occasions I’ve gotten to wear this dress and feel beautiful in it, I can say without a doubt that it is one of my most treasured pieces.

What drew me to this dress specifically was the pretty pattern and bright colors. The neckline too and the length, it’s long enough to be elegant but short enough to show some of my legs. DVF knows how to design dresses that are feminine, timeless and truly make you feel special inside and out. I included a quote from her above because I always feel inspired by her insightful advice, to be happy with yourself, to love yourself, attitude really is everything if you ask me. She is someone I look up to and admire greatly.
