I don't get super dolled up too often. Yes, I get dressed, do my hair and makeup to look presentable and put together every day, but not like dolled up-think wedding, date night, cocktail party type dolled up.
Because of that, I typically wear the same jewelry every day. I love that my go-to jewelry is simple, stylish, but makes a statement on it's own, whether I am wearing a simple jeans and tee outfit or something more intricate like an embroidered dress.
One of my favorite 'every day' jewelry is Alex and Ani. One of my friends gave me the birthstone bracelet a couple of years ago for my birthday, and I was sold. Since then, I have purchased them as gifts for friends, family, and even for myself! I love their simplicity, which makes them great for stacking (I have been known to wear at least four at a time-sometimes more!). The meaning behind each bracelet is special too. I love how you can literally find a piece of jewelry for any occasion. Their necklaces are awesome too-great for layering, which I am all about now, and actually prefer over huge statement necklaces!
I wore my everyday jewelry with this outfit to work on Saturday. This dress is one of our new arrivals at the store and I am in love. Sometimes, it feels so good to not wear something that is so formfitting you feel like you can't breath! The flowy-ness of the dress, including the arms just makes it feel so casual, breezy and comfortable. When I was purchasing it for the store, I almost bought it in cream but opted for the navy-I'm so glad I did. I feel like the navy makes the embroidery pop more!
