Remember when I first got my Polette sunglasses last summer? Ever since I found out about Polette, it's been my go-to place for prescription sunglasses (and glasses) that are trendy yet extremely affordable. How do they do it? They skip the intermediates and the brick-and-mortar location, they have their own factories producing sunglasses and glasses for them and they use the internetz to conduct their bizniz!

How affordable can their products get? The first pair I'm wearing is only $12.99 and for as low as $9.99, you could add prescription lenses to the frame and have yourself a fancy pair of prescription sunglasses. And lets be honest, not every girl can afford the likes of Celine or Karen Walker sunnies, right?;)
They offer a wide range of frames for glasses and sunglasses, from the classic wayfarer model to this (you fancy?) I like my sunglasses oversized and timeless, which is why I picked the two pairs I featured above. As for the glasses? I need a pair that I can leave at the office. It's classic and lightweight, perfect for a 9-to-5 working environment ;)
