DIY poppin bottles stoppers round-up

i wanted to share a bunch of different options to make your very own DIY wine stoppers. not only do these make great gifts, but also a fun project to do with friends… over on the Spotted Fox, Sara and Kelly use drawer pulls – great because they’re not only the perfect size, but there are so many options. they got the pulls from Anthropologie, but you can find them in hardware stores, furniture stores and vintage shops alike. to complete this DIY you will need: glue, wine corks, a corkscrew, corks, and drawer pulls! here is a beautiful drawer pull from Anthropologie next, we have Elsie‘s take – the Thread Spool. with this DIY you can choose the colors to match your kitchen, or just go for your favorites in general. what you need: wood spools, corks, double sided tape, wood glue, embroidery thread and scissors. now this one i love the most. Camille Styles created this beautiful, earthy wine stopped made of a crystal. you can do it with any rock really, but crystals have powers! the things you need: cork stoppers (available at Hobby Lobby), rock (check local specialty rock stores or bead shops), hot glue gun, twine. last but not least, this crazy one could be interpreted in many ways. find a cool figurine – an animal, a plastic army man, anything! and gorilla glue that thing onto a cork stopper! you can always cut it down so that it fits perfectly on the cork. image credit: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,
