Kate Mara in a leather dress at the Gucci Beauty launch in New York City

'House of Cards' actress Kate Mara attended the Gucci Beauty Launch hosted by Frida Giannini in New York City, and put her legs on display.

The 32 year old star wore a stylish and sophisticated ensemble to the event, a maroon halter frock which featured a leather bodice and a thick waist cinching belt.

Kate, who recently posed topless for Esquire Magazine, added metallic accessories to her look including platform heels and a matching clutch.

A half-up half-down hairdo completed her look along with black eyeliner and a pale pout.
