I HATE getting sick. It is the worst. Whether it is a small cough or cold or a terrible flu, not feeling good is the worst. When we are healthy we take for granted little things like not having your eyes burning just because they are open, being sore for no reason, or even being able to breath easily.

Today I have put together 10 Ways To Feel Better! All of these things vastly improve your state of being when you feel terrible.

Epsom Salt Bath – When you are sick you are probably pretty achy and sore as well. A hot bath can soothe a lot of aches and pains but adding epsom salt just makes it that much better.

Essential Oils – Essential oils are so trendy right now, but they are really helpful when you are sick. Using oils like eucalyptus, peppermint or lavender can open up your sinuses ease your headache and make you more comfortable or calm.

A Good Movie – Watching a good movie can really improve your mood. Putting on one of my favorite comedies helps me to forget how icky I am feeling most of the time.

Fresh Air – Stepping outside and ‘taking it all in’ can sometimes do you good.

Comfort foods – Soups and such will feel the belly and help you sleep for longer. And that brings me to my next tip.

Rest – Sleeping hard for 30 minutes or a couple hours can slow you down enough to let your body fight the sickness.

Skincare – Sickness leads to red noses, chapped lips and dull skin. Going through your regular skincare routine will not only make your face feel great but can improve how you feel overall.

Makeup – When you look good you feel good. Put a little concealer on those dark circles. It will cheer you up.

Getting Dressed – Just like the makeup tip… When you look good you feel good. Putting on a nice outfit can really improve how you feel.

Lemon Honey Tea – Sipping on some hot tea with lemon and honey added to it is probably the best tip I have for you. Warm liquids feel so good on the throat when it is sore. Chamomile tea is extremely soothing, and adding lemon brings out the tea’s antioxidants, making them more available for your body to absorb. The honey will coat your throat while also providing more antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

I am going to share with you my recipe for The Best Lemon Honey Hot Tea. Really simple and really effective!
