Discontinued Fragrances
Question of the Week: Have any of your favorite fragrances been discontinued? If you had the ability to bring back any discontinued fragrances, what would they be?
You have all been there I am sure. You fall in love with a fragrance. Use up the entire bottle. Only to find out that it isn’t made anymore and it currently sells on eBay for a million dollars. That is what happened to me a couple years ago when I learned that my all time favorite scent in the ENTIRE WORLD, Issey Miyake Le Feu D’Issey was gone.
The fragrance is described as:
A very unusual and magical composition. Le Feu D’Issey, full of energy and fire, begins bergamot, coconut, mahogany and anise. In the “heart” of milk and sweet notes of caramel surrounded by floral notes of jasmine and Bulgarian rose. Woody-spicy trail of cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and musk gives the composition of waves and intense sound.
If the scent of sexy was bottled and put into a put into a fragrance, then it’s name would be Le Feu d’Issey. My heart is ACTUALLY saddened because it no longer is made. BRING IT BACK, ISSEY MIYAKE!!!! Bring it back. *cue tears*
