Zim and Zou: Paper Sculptures

Zim and Zou is a graphic design studio based in Nancy, France. Its a team of graphic designers Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann who completed a BTS in Visual Communication before joining forces and offer their expertise. They work in different areas such as paper sculptures, installations, graphic design and illustration. I am amazed by their extraordinary and intricate paper sculptures created using only high quality paper, knife and glue. When I saw the top image, the first word that came to my mind was owl. Its a beautiful paper sculpture titled "Chef Mask" but to me it also appears as an owl face. Does it to you too? Their birds are the most delicate paper birds that I have seen in a long time. Loveem!
