BRUNCH SITUATION

Éste fue el outfit que elegí para un brunch la semana pasada y me encantó el resultado.

I wore this look for a brunch last week and I loved the result.

Desde hace algún tiempo, estoy intentando planear mis outfits una noche antes y la verdad es que tiene bastantes beneficios, más tiempo en la mañana y menos frustración porque no se que ponerme y posiblemente tengo prisa. Una noche antes dejé éste vestido con la camisa blanca listos pero no elegí los zapatos. Así que en la mañana, con un poco más de prisa decidí de último minuto ponerme mis flats de gatitos de Charlotte Olympia (que tenía años queriéndome comprar y que por fin son míos :D!!!). La verdad es que uso mucho flats en mi vida diaria, pero casi no uso flats para ir a eventos, aveces parece que soy más alta pero la verdad es que no soy tanto. Dejé mis inseguridades de un lado y me encantó el resultado de éste vestido con flats y de no usar tacones. El último paso fue la bolsa, quise que fuera chiquita para seguir con el toque de inocencia de los 60′s y estaba lista para salir corriendo de mi casa, que como siempre, iba diez minutos tarde…

For a little while now, I’ve been trying to plan my outfits the night before and I’m actually enjoying the extra time in the morning or at least not being frustrated because I’m late and not knowing what to wear. I planned to wear this jacquard dress, with the white shirt underneath to give it a 60′s vibe. I didn’t choose the shoes with anticipation. So, In the morning, in a little hurry I decided to wear my new Charlotte Olympia kitten flats, (that I’ve been wanting to buy for a loong, loong time and are finally mine :D!!!). The truth is, I wear flats on my daily basis all the time, but I was a little unsure to wear flats for an event. I usually seem a little bit taller, but the truth is, that actually I’m not so much. I fought with my insecurities, and ended up loving the result and the unexpected touch of not wearing heels. The last step was the little bag to continue with the naive and 60′s feeling and I was ready to run out of my house, because as always, I was ten minutes late…
