Hace varios años compré ésta falda en un viaje a Argentina y creo que en ese momento jamás me imaginé todas las veces que la iba a usar. Ver éste look y saber que no estoy usando nada (excepto la blusa/sweater) relativamente nuevo, me hizo reflexionar mucho sobre la importancia de comprar menos y mejor. Es un hecho que siempre usamos lo mismo en nuestro clóset y estoy segura que hay una razón para eso. Esas pocas prendas que usamos una y otra vez, se ven bien, son versátiles y seguramente nos hacen sentir bien. Así que terminamos por usar menos del 50% de nuestra ropa pero al final del día no cambiamos nuestros hábitos de compra y seguimos comprando cosas que sólo vamos a usar algunas veces. Con todo el tema de las ofertas, los cambios de temporada y el rush de comprar cosas que te encantan al momento es importante reflexionar y empezar a invertir en cosas que puedas usar muchas veces, en básicos y en prendas que te queden bien. Esas son las claves para que algo este de moda o no, lo puedas usar con el paso del tiempo, ahorrar un poco y de paso vestirte y sentirte mucho mejor.

A few years ago during a trip to Argentina I bought this skirt. I’m sure that at that very moment I didn’t imagine all the times that I will wear it. Seeing this look and knowing that I’m not using anything new (except from the shirt/sweater), made me thinking about buying less and better. It’s a fact that we always use almost the same things in our closet, and I’m sure there must be a reason for that. They look good, their versatile and we feel good on them. So we use less than 50% of our closets, but we continue buying stuff that we’re only going to use a few times. With the sales, the season changes and the rush of buying things that we love, we don’t give ourselves the time to reflect and invest in things that you can use a lot of times, basics and things that look and fit good. Those are the keys for making the best of your closet, save money and at the same time dress and feel better.
