Neon Drip Nails for Halloween

Back in early Summer this year I was keen on getting my hands on the Essie "neon" collection, but then did not find the time to really wear them. But who says you can wear neon polishes only during summer? They also make for a perfect slime/paint drip manicure for Halloween!

Polishes used for the neon drip nails:
Essie - Serial Shopper
Essie - Vices Versa
Essie - I'm addicted
Essie - Too Taboo
Essie - Licorice

Sadly, the Essie polishes were a bit sheer, so I had to paint three coats, except for Too Taboo, which required only two coats. After applying one layer of Quickie topcoat by Underground Nails I let the polish dry. For the slime or paint drip pattern I used the paint drip vinyls by Miami Handjobs, but you surely can just paint on the drips with a dotting tool or brush. It is very important that the polish is completely dry before using nail vinyls, or else you will peel off the polish together with the vinyl. Make sure to peel off the vinyl while the polish is still wet to get crisp lines. I finished everything off with the Essence Soft Touch top coat, which adds a satin finish to the nails.

I am really happy with how these turned out and how the colors pop against the black polish. What do you think?
