I'm making the most of the sun here in Sweden and even nipped out for a run this morning (now I'm just showing off, right?!) If it makes you feel better I was like a tortoise - mornings are not my strong point. But the good news is this means I get to relax for rest of the day, right? (
wrong if my husband is reading this of course). The Bergelin family look like they've got it right though in their lovely laid back 1950's home in Kullabygden here in Skåne. From the fab images captured by
Ester Sorri I'm seeing simple lunches alfresco, afternoons spent reading and playing with toys and as much time as possible spent outdoors. What a lovely, relaxed way to wile away a summer, don't you think?

Hus & Hem.
Just so relaxed and natural. Plus Kullabygden is a really lovely place (we spend quite a lot of time in the area as my parents-in-law live there). It's well worth a visit if you're in Sweden - I especially like Höganäs (home to
Magasin 36,
Lily & Oscar etc), Arild and the pretty village of
Mölle (staying at the
Grand Hotel is a must!).
Incidentally, did you notice the 'pinnvagn' in the garden? These traditional wooden trolleys are often used at Swedish country homes and summer cottages to transport small children, shopping, picnics, beach toys and other cargo around the village. So useful!
You can see more pics and read about the Bergelin home
here (in Swedish).
Other lovely, relaxed homes in Kullabygden include the
home of a stylist also captured
here, a
cottage with a beautiful mix and a
stunning skåne home.
Have a lovely, relaxed day!
