Happy Turkey Day! card featuring Friend PNC’s

So – Hi world!!! I’ve been in a bubble hanging out, getting my kids off to school and trying to adapt to our new schedule. I figure we’re half way through September so maybe it was time to get my crafty on again. :-)

Happy Turkey Day! card

Today I am sharing this Happy Turkey Day card featuring the Friend Phrase Pop n’ Cuts by Karen Burniston and a few different Lawn Fawn Stamp sets.

For the front I stamped the turkey and sentiment and colored with Copic markers. I matted my image on red and added some Lawn Fawn Trimming on the side. Pop dots secure the blocked piece to the front of the card. The cute turkey on the front is from a Lawn Fawn set called Turkey Day.

On the inside of my card, I used the Friend phrase insert and matching Friends Sizzlits. I thought it was a fun twist for a Thanksgiving card. The S is actually separate on the Sizzlits so I just overlapped it on the D a bit when gluing it down. The Lawn Fawn stamp sets I used for the inside of the card are Happy Everything and Smitty’s ABCs.

I wanted to share a close up shot of the inside so you can see how I overlapped the S better. I could have also glued it down onto the heart that is on the right side of the Friend PNC but I wanted it to stand out a bit more so I decided overlapping it would be best.
