Stealing some style!

Now that I have filled my boots purchase wise, I am in a bid to curb my spending and so I have turned my attention to my pin boards once again for some outfit inspiration to make the best of what I have already got! Not the first time I have experimented by copying my favourite Pinterest looks but I have found this exercise a great way of seeing some of your favourite wardrobe staples in a new light and mixing up the usual way you might put them together! First up was my Topshop boyfriend camel coat which I've had for 2 years, worn here with some double denim and I've gone with trainers instead of the black boots for this school run look!

Topshop coat (Winter 2012, similar here from River Island, 25% off with GRAZIANOV14 online) J Crew denim shirt (via eBay, similar here) Gap Always skinny jeans (Summer sale 2014, similar here) Adidas Stan Smiths (via eBay, you can buy at Office here)
I featured this look from Pinterest a couple of posts back as I found a very good alternative to this coat in Primark for just £20! My version is Uniqlo that I bought last year, I am looking forward to getting lots of wear out of it this year.

I wore this outfit out for tea one night to a local pub!

I have copied this look to incorporate the airing of a new purchase, my Brave Soul red check shirt from ASOS (sadly now sold out)! Celebrity style courtesy of Kate Bosworth! It wouldn't have crossed my mind to put a t-shirt on under a shirt but it is a look I've tried a couple of times these past few days and it's fast becoming my signature look!

Another celebrity style steal here! The lovely OP here sporting her fur gilet. I never knew just how very versatile a gilet could be, so glad to have found one that is so wearable this season!

My version.....excuse the expression, trying to direct the 8 year old to take a good shot! Not happening!

Damart gilet (current, here) Zara jacket (ancient, similar here) Gap top (ancient, similar here) Dorothy Perkins jeggings (Winter 2012, similar here) New Look pumps (ancient, similar from H&M here)
The weather has been so mild over half term it was the perfect time to get my mac out so I tried to replicate this look, featuring the shirt over t-shirt again!

My components here are a tad different but you get the gist!

This was my favourite style steal of the week!

Topshop parka (Spring 2014, similar from River Island here, 25% off with GRAZIANOV14 online) Pull & Bear sweathirt (Spring 2014, similar here) Zara T-shirt (Spring 2014, similar here) Zara coated chinos (Spring 2014, similar here) Adidas Stan Smith (via eBay, buy from Office here)
I have a hole in my wardrobe for a leather jacket but I think I did manage to copy this look with a Whistles jersey biker jacket look-a-like!

Whistles jersey biker jacket (Summer 2013, similar style here from ASOS) Uniqlo shirt (Autumn 2013, similar here) Zara T-shirt (Spring 2014, similar here) ASOS Ridley jeans (current, here)
I think this Topshop coat will stand me in good stead this season! I could easily wear it everyday! Love it!

I love this combination of the pale blue and grey, so I copied this!

Now, I have had a pleather pencil skirt hung in my wardrobe for over a year, once I saw this look I knew this would be the best way for me to try and pull off this skirt as I wasn't entirely sure how to style it!

It worked out so much better than I expected, I was so pleased with this ensemble for a night out! Another abysmal photo though, this time thanks to the DH!
