Emily de Molly - Dark Depths

Are you guys doing anything special for new years? Mr.B and I have always gone to the same party with our friends and had a blast. Last year though we had Luigi experiencing new years for the first time so I wanted to stay home and make sure he didn't get afraid of the fireworks.

I failed. I tried playing fireworks to him loudly in the days before to prepare him for it, but it didn't work. When the day came and the fireworks went up he just wanted to hide in the darkest smallest corner all by himself. He didn't even want to cuddle up to me!

And ever since that evening, he freaks out when he hears sounds that resemble fireworks. By freaking out I mean he does everything in his power to pull me back home and doesn't want to eat, play, pee or anything. All he wants to do is go home and when we get there, he runs and hides somewhere.

So this new year, and probably many next, I'll be staying home with the dogs making sure they are okay. We're going to dinner at the in-laws, but then I'm going home and Mr.B is going to the party.

I didn't want to nail art it up for only myself, so I grabbed this goooooooorgeous party-in-a-bottle from Emily de Molly called Dark Depths. You're seeing three coats without a top coat. I liked that it was a little gritty so I skipped top coat. It was a little thick, but it dried SO fast. Would never assume that for a polish that kind of goo-ey. Application was also very easy.
