Life of Baby Halstead | Week #11

I had my “official” first OB appointment today. Blood work, and all that jazz. I really hate having my blood drawn, but they are doing the non-invasive genetic testing. Which will be able to tell us if our rainbow baby is a boy or girl in 2-3 weeks. I am so excited, and secretly hoping it doesn’t take that long. Here is my bump at 10w4d at the dentist.

11 Week Bumpdate:

How Far Along: 11 weeks

Weight Gain: 0 pound

Sleep: has been better, thankfully.

Gender: we should find out in 2-3 weeks.

Feeling: blah. been sneezing a lot because of the pollen, which means headaches!

Movement: I think I have felt a couple little flutters.

Belly: growing! I have started wearing a few maternity items. mainly for comfort.

Next Appointment: 4 weeks!

I am so excited that everything seems to be going good so far. I am really hopeful that everything will come back fine with the genetic screening. I am finally letting myself get a excited. It has been hard this time. I am thankful, but so worried.
