Ah February.

It used to be one of my favorite months. My birthday, spring in Seattle, Daffodils, walks outdoors in a light jacket/heavy sweater...
Yeah...not so much now.
Now it's: My birthday, two more months of snow, Daffodils from the grocery store that live for 3 days, bundling up with only your eyes visible in below-zero temps.
But there is still joy.

A free Venti No-Water Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks (for my birthday)

Walking into EM's room, after hearing him wake from his nap, and finding him reading a book that had been resting on the ledge below the window. Corduroy - a favorite book of an Aunt, given to EM at Christmas.

Making laundry soap with my Handsome Hubby. Spending time with him is the joy, not the breathing in of air-born soap.

Playing with the best kitty in the world.

Snuggles with a warm kitty in a cold bed.
