Turquoise & Gold Water Spotted Nails

Nail art that takes too much time just isn't for me (anymore). Unless I have one of those days - like I had yesterday. Sometimes even water decals and stamping feel like too much work ... but I pulled out the big guns yesterday. Three nail polish shades, a cup of water and spray disinfectant. Here's my take on the 3-toned water spotted nails.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the water spotted technique, here's a great video tutorial (
CLICK).
I used H&M Bella's Choice as a base for my water manicure and two different shades for water spotting: Essence Forever Mine (from the Denim Wanted TE) and China Glaze 2030. I believe any nail polish with thin formula should work well for this technique. I topped it off with a coat of my current favorite top coat - Essence Better Than Gel Nails High Gloss Top Sealer.

Have you ever tried water spotted nail technique? What do you think about this look?
