In the words of Garth Brooks, "I'm a girl from Louisiana!" Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, I think of my dear city as the essence of who I am, not just the place where I am from. Currently, my husband and I are living in Beaufort, SC while he completes a four year tour with the US Navy.
