thoughts from a third grader

Alyssa has been back in school for a couple of weeks now and as an official third grader, she pretty much knows everything. I thought I would take a little bit of time and ask her some random questions about things going on in the world and see what her thoughts on life in general are.

How do you feel about your new school? Good. I don't have a longer answer.
What is your favorite thing about being a big sister? Helping out when my sister needs help.
What do you think about Miley Cyrus? I like her; she's cool. Keep in mind she hasn't seen the new video or the VMA performance.
What does it mean when you fall in love? I don't know. I'm not thinking good.
If you had a million dollars, what would you buy? A big house, a chocolate fountain, a chocolate waterfall and a whole chocolate factory. That's it. Oh and a billion cars. Just kidding. I can't buy a billion cars. I can buy four cars.

What is something that scares you? Pretty much nothing.
What do you think it's like to be a mom or dad? Awesome. That's it.
What are you going to be when you grow up? A veterinarian or a police. Because they involve animals. I want to be one of those K9 cops.
What do you think is the most important thing in life? Being careful. Like if you see something that looks dangerous don't just go do it or something.
What makes you sad? What makes you happy? What makes me sad is letting my dog Sophie get hurt cause she chewed up a fancy shoe and she got in trouble. Being with my family makes me happy. Can I go play now?
