Joy Cho

a little party celebrating sweet slumber...

A couple weeks ago, we held a launch party for the Oh Joy for Nod collection at the amazing Fig House space here in Los Angeles. Typically launch parties are at night and with adults only, so it was extra fun for me to have a daytime party that was made for kids to enjoy, too!

Although the Fig House (designed by the talented Emily Henderson) was intended for weddings and other evening events, it's amazing how beautiful it was in the day time, too, surrounded by all of the colorful bedding, decor, and florals by Yasmine.

There were DIY stations by Crafting Community set up for the kids to make tie-dyed bandanas and pretty string shapes.

Lunch came in the form of bite-sized and kid-friendly foods like mini corn dogs, crab cakes, mac and cheese, and PB and J sandwiches by Room Forty.

A family-friendly Flipbooth was in the courtyard for taking flip book style photos.

We also had an ice cream truck style tour bus selling some of the pillows from the collection!

And just a ton of cute smiles everywhere. It was a fun day in the sunshine for our friends and their families, and I loved seeing how excited the kids got seeing the bedding in real life!

P.S. If you're around today at 2pm PST, join me on MoveLifeStyle's Facebook page for a live chat about the collection!
