The Next Best Thing To Febreze Making A Perfume

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Fresh laundry is probably my most favorite scent, right after the smell of a freshly brewed pot of coffee, of course. I have always legitimately wished that Febreze had a perfume so I could just smell like Febreze all the time without having to douse my clothes in it, but unfortunately they have yet to fulfil my request, so I opt for #allthelaundrythings instead. Enter the Downy Unstopables line. They have a few different scents: lush, shimmer and fresh- and they ALL smell so good. There are a bunch of different make-your-world-smell-better products in the Unstopables line, such as the fabric refresher, the air refresher, the in-wash scent booster, the oil warmer aaaand last but not least, candles! I’ve basically been using a combination of all of these products lately and life has just been smelling goooood.

My personal favorite in this line is the fresh scent. It’s pretty much just the smell of fresh laundry, and we already all know that I love that. Not only do I love the scent of all of these products, from a design perspective, the packaging is gorgeous as far as anything I’ve ever seen related to laundry goes! I don’t normally leave my cleaning supplies or jugs of laundry soap lying around, but these are so pretty they’re almost decorative. I don’t mind having them around for a little freshen up spritz around the room every now and then at all!

The lush scent is another favorite of mine. It’s a lavender vanilla combo which is just perfection. Nate Berkus, one of my all time favorite interior designers who has the most amazing products, has a few pro tips in regards to scent decor (which I never really thought of as a thing until I started using these products, and I’d walk in the house and be like whoa- it is smelling GOOD in here!). He thinks that your space should be a reflection of who you are (of course!) and that adding a scent you love just brings it all together. I totally have to agree on this one, because how can you not be in your happy place when everything is decorated just how you love and smells amazing?

Another tip of his is to switch up a room when you get bored of it, but without spending a bunch of money. I was getting pretty bored of my desk area, so instead of going out and buying all new accessories, I stacked up some of my prettiest books and on top of those I popped a frame that I bought for like $2 and then painted gold on top of it with a cute print inside that I already had pinned to my bulletin board. I also moved my pretty Valentine’s Day bouquet into a white vase that I already had and added that to my desk area. Super easy to freshen things up without spending much money! Burning the yummy Unstopables lush candle in my refreshed desk area was just the cherry on top.

So yes, I’d absolutely consider the products in the Downy Unstopables line the next best thing to Febreze making a perfume (haha). What do you love your house to smell like?
